Rattlesnakes have been spotted in the greenbelt area and by Conestoga School.  It has been suggested to throw colored, plastic eggs out in a suspected snake area.  They can kill a snake if eaten but this option will also kill beneficial snakes.  Another option is moth balls which might repel snakes.  Please keep children in mind when using these techniques.  Due to the extremely dry conditions we are experiencing more instances of all types of wildlife wandering into urban areas looking for food and water.
